Based on the standard SLDF color scheme, the 1st Royal BattleMech Regiment paints its machines in olive drab with dark green highlights. The regiment`s logo is placed predominantly on the right side of the vehicle while the unit`s number is placed on the left.

The insignia of Task Force Serpent was officially adopted as the insignia of the First Royal BattleMech Regiment: a black serpent, its fanged jaws open and ready to strike, coiled the Cameron Star. Per FM: ComStar, page 103.
