Mad Cat (Timber Wolf) Resculpt

This model has been modified, using IWM Omnimech Parts, to represent the Alterante Configuration D of the Timber Wolf (Mad Cat), as described in Technical Readout 3050, Pp. 136-7 The paints used were a burgundy red craft paint over grey primer, followed by a targeted wash of GW Devlan Mud, and successive highlights of Americana Country Red. The grey surfaces were left in the primer color and successively washed with GW Badab Black, and paneled with Vallejo Basalt Grey mixed 50% with London Grey. Missiles were painted as follows: the face plate for each launcher was painted in Vallejo Gunmetal Grey and sparsely highlighted with natural steel. The missiles were painted with GW Bleached Bone and when dry the area was washed with undiluted GW Badab Black. When that was dry, each missile had a thin white line drawn about midway between launcher an tip with a No. 0 brush. The missile tips were painted first with GW Bestial Brown and then dotted with Vallejo Gold on the very tip.
